Katharina Löffelmann is a multidisciplinary artist and works with a variety of materials. She describes her light installations as LED collages, combining, among other things, old and new. Thus, she gives different “support materials” by the application of electroluminescent light strings new meanings. She is inspired by current political debates as well as by everlasting topics such as gender equality, power structures and dealing with trauma.

The photographic exploration of different worlds of life and the question of the subject in the 21st century is also part of her artistic work. She has also been active as a street artist for several years. Typography and lettering are a distinguishing feature of their pictures.
Löffelmann comes from the Waldviertel, currently lives and works in Vienna. Together with the artists Mariella Lehner and Linda Steiner, she has been forming the street art trio Ripoff Crew since 2018, with whom she designs extensive Murals, for example as part of the Calle Libre Festival.
